In April 2006 SwedPower AB changed its name to Vattenfall Power Consultant AB. The company will continue to work as an independent consultant and further strengthen that role. The objective is to integrate the offering today into the Vattenfall brand and develop it further. This change will also enable energy provider Vattenfall to evolve into a significant consulting service provider for the energy sector.
Vattenfall Power Consultant (former SwedPower) has been active as a consulting firm in Sweden for seven years and on the international market for about 30 years.
With total sales of more than SEK 600 million (the international portion is about 20 percent), Vattenfall Power Consultant is one of the biggest suppliers of consulting services to the Swedish and international energy industry.
